I became fluent in Taiwanese just by listening to one song

Just by listening to one famous Taiwanese song, I have become completely fluent. Here’s how I did it.

Alright, so it’s a bit of a lie. I’m leaps and bounds away from being fluent in Taiwanese, but I want to share the power of music in language learning. First, the song.

You’re welcome to give it a listen, but don’t feel it is necessary. Anyway, just by listening to this song over and over again I’ve picked up a lot of basic vocabulary and grammar without any formal studying.

I believe this proves the power of music—and especially listening to songs you enjoy and want to sing along with—has on language learning.

Now to get back to focusing on Mandarin like I should be…
